We urgently require the expertise of experienced plumbers to join our site teams. R.G.Evans Plumbing and Heating work with many top new build housing developers and housing associations. Subsequently, we have many site contracts to manage and new development sites on the horizon.

PRICE WORK

Competitive price work paid for direct and subcontractors. Also, full employment options are available.

THE BASICS

  • Location: Choice of locations across Thames Valley, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, West London and surrounding areas.
  • Full-time: Monday to Friday. Full-time and Part-time options considered, either direct employment or Subcontract.
  • Salary/Pay: £30,000.00-£60,000.00 per year negotiable based on experience

JOB ROLE – DUTIES

As part of the R.G.Evans Plumbing and Heating team, you’ll be onsite for our new build developer clients.

Overview of the role includes

  • Install all forms of domestic plumbing systems in a neat, tidy, and professional manner with minimal supervision.
  • Use contract information provided. Follow design and specification information as relevant. Install in full compliance of manufacturers details, gas safe regulations, and recognised standards of good practice.
  • Deal with company material supplies, and treat them carefully to ensure they are undamaged and kept safe. Check supplier deliveries, report shortages and return paperwork.
  • Take materials from the place of storage on-site to point of installation. Use materials carefully and prevent waste. Return any unused materials to safe storage.
  • If required, drive a company van to and from the site complete with tools. You may also need to carry other staff with you as passengers. From time to time, you may be asked to collect materials from those stores or a supplier and deliver them to a site.

REQUIREMENTS

For the Plumber (Site Installer) positions, we require:

Essential

  • Suitable qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • UK driving licence
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English
  • Positive attitude and work ethic
  • To be punctual, reliable, and considerate

Preferrable but not essential

  • More than 3 years experience
  • Experience in renewable, heat pumps and/or HIU
  • Multi-trade and maintenance experience
  • Gas certified
